Sometimes you want a milkshake and other times you want a freakshake like this incredible raspberry freakshake with macaroons (yum)! For years I have loved my Frozen Mango Lemonade Recipe, but for something a little sweeter and a little more decadent, try this raspberry freakshake recipe out! Freakshakes are over the top milkshakes. And this delicious raspberry milkshake is topped with coconut slices, rock candy and macaroons! Yum yum yum! Serve this at a party, eat this on a random Tuesday night, you will be glad you have this yummy treat in your life.

Milkshakes are so easy to make. Did you know I have a whole blog devoted to recipes for smoothies and milkshakes!? Yup I do! You can check it out at Simply Blended Smoothies! It is such a fun site I am loving and I would love for you to follow me over there.
But really, with the right blender, a milkshake can come together in just a few minutes. And even though freakshakes look super impressive, you just need to add some yummy, delicious and even decadent toppings to an ordinary milkshake and it becomes extraordinary in no time!
While we are talking about blenders, there are some great blenders out there and there are some not so great blenders out there. I have tried a LOT of them. But my preference is the Vitamix. It is easy to use, easy to clean and you can get smooth and creamy milkshakes and smoothies with it! I have this Vitamix HERE.
Are you ready for this delicious recipe? I just love how impressive this looks...don't be scared off by it though...I promise it is so easy to make. Ready? Let's go!
Raspberry Freakshake with Macaroons
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Vanilla Ice Cream
- ¼ cup Raspberries
- 2 French Macaroons
- 2 Crystal Rock Candy Lollypops
- ¼ cup Pink Melting Chocolate Wafers
- Sprinkles in Coordinating Colors
- Dried Coconut Slices
- 2 Tiny Glasses or Double Shot Glasses
Directions:
- Melt the chocolate wafers according to package instructions then dip the tops of the glasses into it.
- Allow the chocolate to run down the inside and outside of the glass, add sprinkles, and then chill in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- Right before serving, blend together the raspberries and ice cream until combined. This will be a thick mixture.
- Transfer the milkshake into your glasses and then add a straw so that they can help support the macaroons and large coconut pieces. Add your Rock Candy Lollypop too.
- These are best enjoyed right away, but if you glasses are cold enough and the blended ice cream is solid enough you might be able to make them ahead of time and keep frozen until you’re ready to serve them.
You can, of course, modify this recipe if you want, but I think it is perfect the way it is. A simple yet delicious raspberry milkshake topped with a macaroon, rock candy lollypop and coconut slices! So yummy. So impressive. And the perfect treat for any time.
The great thing about this recipe is that you can totally make these up ahead of time and then store them in the freezer until you are ready to serve. So if you are having a party and want to serve these as a treat, you can make them up ahead of time, freeze them, and then just let them sit out for a few minutes prior to serving. So easy but a really fun way to impress your guests!
