It's that time of year again when we break out the mistletoe...and all things peppermint! And also...EGGNOG!!! I have fond memories growing up of my mom buying a container of eggnog to share. We would drink it sparingly because for some reason eggnog never comes in big enough containers, and we would savor every single sip. As an adult I love watching my own children get the same joy out of this yummy beverage (non-alcoholic of course). And so I am really excited to share a really fun recipe that you can make using eggnog. Today I am sharing my Spiced Eggnog Pudding Recipe and it is oh-so-tasty. It is rich and decadent and a perfect way to top off any meal during this holiday season. And if you like eggnog, even a little bit, I am just sure you will like this too!
I headed to my local Walmart to snag the ingredients I needed for this recipe. I found the eggnog, Reddi-wip® and eggs in the dairy section of my local store. Everything else was down the baking aisle. Once at home, this recipe came together really easily. Who knew making your own spiced eggnog pudding could be so easy!
Are you ready? Here's the recipe:

Hi Ashley, today I made the spiced egg not pudding. I was puzzled about where I should include the whole spice as it was not included in the directions. I decided to put it in with the heavy cream & powdered sugar. It is still in the fridge chilling so I don't know if it is going to set up. I am sure it will. I tasted it & it was very yummy. Next time I will cut the sugar to 1/4 cup instead of 1/3. It is a bit too sweet, but otherwise a recipe I will certainly make again.

Oh I am sorry about the confusion. Yes the allspice can be added in when you did or into the pudding mixture after you remove it from the heat. It is a very forgiving recipe so either place would work! I am glad you liked the recipe! And yes, definitely cut the sugar next time if it is too sweet for you! Great idea.
