I can not believe that Teacher Appreciation Week is right around the corner! And this year I didn't want to scramble for a last minute gift so I got started early. Since my daughter's teacher loves owls, I decided to make her a cute board using some vinyl and one of my favorite crafting tools, my Silhouette!

Se, before we get to the giveaway, I can't wait to show off what we created for my daughter's teacher gift!
I picked up a 2" x 10" construction board the other day and knew it would be perfect for this project! I cut about 11" of length off of my board and used it for this project.
Next I sanded and stained my board.
Then I found a cute owl shape from the Silhouette store and cut out my owl from varying colors of vinyl! I LOVE their turquoise vinyl!
I added a little saying to the top as well: "Thanks for making me WISER." I thought that was fitting for the board 🙂
My daughter can't wait to give this to her teacher!!
