Hi everyone! I'm Shanna from Restoration Redoux here for my monthly contributor's post.
It's my favorite time of year -- Christmas music, delicious food, Christmas shopping, and spending time with our loved ones.
For years, I have frustrated my daughter by only decorating with white and silver. So this year she convinced me to spice things up with a bit of color.
I found this bulletin board at a yard sale over the summer for a dollar. It was ugly, but I knew that someday it would come in handy.
First, I spray painted the whole board white.
Once it was dry I taped it off and painted the frame red.
I then used a yardstick, and with a pencil I drew a triangle in the middle of the board. I then drew a small square beneath the triangle.
Using my hot glue gun, I filled-in the square with six solid red ornaments and the triangle with assorted red and white ornaments.
I then hot glued a red glitter star on top.
This is an extremely quick and easy project, and a great project to do with your little ones.
I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Christmas!
