Creating a Mini-Chalkboard is a great gift idea for the teachers in your life! As usual, this is a simple and inexpensive craft to put together and it is sure to please any teacher! I can just imagine a teacher using this mini-board to place daily notes, reminders or quotes on! How fun would that be!?
To create this, you will need:
- frame
- foam core
- chalkboard vinyl or chalkboard paint
I picked up my framed from the $1 store and spray painted it this fun turquoise color.
Remove the glass from the frame and cut a piece of foam core to fit snugly inside the frame.
Apply a piece of chalkboard vinyl or paint chalkboard paint onto the foam core.
Insert chalkboard foam core into the frame and secure!
Add a personalized note if you like and a bow and gift your DIY Chalkboard away!
