Nothing says fall quite like Mulled Cider! But most store-bought mulling spices are just plain expensive. So today I am excited to show you how simple it is to create your own Homemade Mulling Spices with ingredients you may already have at home! (I did!) This comes together in a few minutes and then you can let your cider simmer or heat up in the crock pot for several hours. Your house will smell amazing and you will have tasty mulled cider to drink! And the best part is that this makes a great holiday gift! So scroll to the bottom and download your free Homemade Mulling Spices gift printable too!
Also, I'm excited to announce that I have teamed up with 29 incredibly talented and creative bloggers to share some fun neighbor gift ideas. Make sure to check out all the ideas below and visit everyone's blogs for more details.
Now, onto the Homemade Mulling Spices...
To make your own Homemade Mulling Spices, you will need:
- 4 Cinnamon Sticks
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 ½ tablespoons Dried Orange Peel
- 2 teaspoons Whole Cloves
- Sack Cloth, Cheese Cloth or unused Tea Bag
First you will measure out all your ingredients.
Then you will carefully place them in a piece of cloth or tea bag.
Grab a piece of baker's twine, jute or rope and secure the cloth tightly around the spices. Use a second piece of baker's twine to secure the cinnamon sticks to the outside of the cloth.
Go HERE and download your free (un-watermarked) printable for personal use only!
