Look at this cute Halloween Wreath I made for our front door! (I won't mention that I had to bring it inside yesterday because I feared for it's life as we had severe winds, crazy thunderstorms and tornado warnings and watches...hm...welcome to the mid-west I guess!)
Anyway, if you can believe it, I made this almost entirely from things from the dollar store!!!
I love how cheap it was and how easy it was to make. And I love how spookey it is!
In the great computer crash of 2010 I lost my "how to" pictures for this wreath. But it was really easy so I will try to describe how I did it. Not as good as photos though...sorry!
I bought a wooden viney wreath from the Dollar store along with 4 white feather boas and a pack of skulls.
First I hot glued the white feather boas to the wreath. Next I took a can of spray paint ($1 at WalMart) and sprayed the entire thing black.
Then I hot glued on the skulls and added some black tulle I had left over from my witch costume. Then I added some left over sparkely spiders I had from my stacking pumpkins for fun!
I finished it off by adding a cute sign that I made by spray painting white foam core black and adding vinyl letters and trees to it!
Easy peasy and all for the low low cost of about $7 plus a few things I already had on hand! Not bad!
