We are getting so excited for Halloween around here! My kiddos can't wait to dress up and go trick or treating! And they always love handing out candy! So this year we decided to come up with a fun a creative way to give little candy treats to a few friends of ours by making these really cute and really simple Halloween Treat Cups!
You won't believe how simple these are to make! You can even let your kiddos make them all by themselves! And then wrap them in a cute cello bag and top with a pretty ribbon and these make the perfect small gift for close friends or family.
To create these Halloween Treat Cups, you will need:
- Paper or Plastic Disposable Cups (I found these orange and white ones at WalMart, in the party good section, 10 for 97 cents)
- Black Sharpie Marker
- Candy
I headed to WalMart and snagged all of these items for not too much money! Plus I have plenty of candy left over to hand out on Halloween! My family loves Butterfingers so I grabbed a bag of Fun Size Butterfinger 11.5 oz., Nestle Jumbo Variety Bag 58 oz. and a Butterfinger Assorted Jumbo Bag.
After I brought all my goodies home I was ready to get to work!
You will simply take your black Sharpie marker and draw little cute Halloween faces onto your cups! I drew simple ghost faces onto the white cups and jack-o-lantern faces onto the orange cups. These were truly so simple!
I am not an artist, but I truly love how these turned out! I got a little creative and tried to make fun and different jack-o-lantern faces on the orange Halloween Treat Cups! I came up with a happy face, a sad face and a scary face! Aren't these just way too fun!?
The ghosts all have similar faces but I still think they are so much fun!
After you have drawn the faces on, you can fill the cups with candy and they are ready to hand out to family and friends! If you want to make them a little cuter, you can even slip them in a cello bag first!
I have these sitting in my front room ready to hand out when friends stop by this holiday season.
There are so many fun options when it comes to making cute Halloween Treat Cups! And I love the idea of getting your kids involved too! Even my 4 year old can master drawing ghost and pumpkin faces on these Halloween treat cups!
And what will you see when you come to my house this Halloween to trick or treat!?
My Floating Head Hanging Ghosts of course!! Go here to see how to make them!
And my Spooky Spider is up in my hallway too!
Go here to check out how to make this spider decor!
Are you handing out candy this Halloween?
