I am finishing up a few last minute Thanksgiving and Fall decorations just in time for the big Tday! We have family coming into town and I want to create a beautifully fall-ish home without spending a lot of time or money. So today I am showing off my really cute and very simple Glitter Pears!
But I already have a lot of pumpkin decor, so I decided to pick another fall fruit (pears) and create a similar look!
To make these you will need:
- plastic pears (I found mine at the dollar store)
- Glitter Blast in Orange
- Clear Polyurethane or Polyacrylic
- tape
You will simply tape off your stems and then use the Glitter Blast to spray paint the pears! Be warned though, I have found Glitter Blast to be a little bit finicky, so follow all the directions carefully.
After the Glitter Blast is dry, spray on a clear coat to ensure that your glitter doesn't rub off over time.
These would be perfect as a Thanksgiving day centerpiece, used to hold place cards around the Tday table or even in a container on display in your home!
What decor are you putting on your table for Thanksgiving?
