We are having fun decorating the house for Christmas! And no, believe it or not, my house is not all decorated. Well...maybe it is...I think I am just keeping things "more simple" this year. Ya, we'll go with that! 馃檪
I have also not wrapped a single gift or baked any cookies. I am feeling behind...sigh. But we did do a fun and simple craft the other day that helped our kitchen fell a little more wintery. We made cute Felt Snowflakes!
To make these you will need:
- Sizzix Big Shot
- Snowflake #2 Die or similar
- Glittery white felt or similar
- Poster Putty
You will use your Sizzix Big Shot and your Snowflake die to cut snowflakes out of felt. I found a really pretty white felt with glitter sparkles in it! The photos don't show it...but they really do have silver sparkles in them! They are very subtle, but very fun! And for some reason, this felt was a bit thicker then normal felt so I could only run about 3 sheets at a time.
Then, using poster putty, you will stick the snowflakes onto your kitchen cabinets!
This was our kitchen before...
And this is our kitchen after we got doused with an indoor dose of winter weather...
Easy peasey! So cute and so fun! My children both LOVE have these glittery snowflakes in our house! And this took only a few minutes (and a few dollars) to make!
Are you going all out for decorating this year or keeping things simple?
