Have you noticed how my side bar buttons are on a continual scrolling loop?
Go on, scroll down my page to check them out.
I'll wait.
Oh good. You came back!
It's pretty cool huh?
I am all about streamlining my blog. It is still a work in progress. But I know that buttons on my sidebar can become a bit unruly. So. After much searching I found a code to help me make better use of my space and streamline my blog look by allowing me to use a smaller section of space for my various blog buttons and letting them show on a continual loop. How cool is that?!?!
Well I have been asked how I did this! So I thought I would share this with EVERYONE!
But. Caveat Emptor. Or. Really. Caveat Blogger. Beware blogger. Use this at your own risk.
I mean that in all seriousness, and, in all joking. Both. At the same time.
Do you remember last week when my blog when wonky? (Ack! I promised myself I wouldn't use that word but once I started I just can't seem to stop! It makes me feel young and hip! ha ha!)
Well, I am 99% sure that this code was invaded by alien code one night and messed up my blog. I don't know this for sure. I can't prove anything, but when I deleted the code, my blog became unbroken! So I am fairly sure that this was the cause of all my issues.
The good news is that I was able to re-install the code, my blog remains unbroken, and my buttons are scrolling again!
So. I will share with you the code. But, if your blog breaks, you have been warned! You can't hold it against me and you most certainly can't stop reading my blog!
Just delete the code, and try entering it in again. It should work!
So...here goes:
1. Go to your layout menu and on a sidebar, create a new gadget
2. Select html / java as the type of gadget
Where the number in red is the width of your sidebar column area. The green number adjusts the speed of the scroll: the higher the number the faster the scroll. The purple number dictates the height of the area in question.
Happy Designing!

I am not seeing the code. I may be missing it somewhere.

You know, I've wondered how to do that. But I hate HTML so much, I don't know if I'll ever try it. <br /><br />Thank you for participating in the Creative Therapy session at Life in the Pitts.
