I can't believe that we are already half way through November! October felt so long to me but November is flying by! I am so happy because even though time seems to be flying by, I have managed to get 98% of my holiday shopping done already! Woot woot! So I am thrilled to be able to just enjoy the holidays, baking cookies and spending time with my family. This is such a wonderful time of year. I have mentioned before that my family tries to focus on serving others and remembering that we are celebrating Jesus's birth. We keep Christmas gifts simple and opt to do something to create family memories like going on a short trip or planning a few extra special activities to do together instead. I love it! It makes the holidays feel more about family instead of "stuff." And while I love decorating for Christmas, decorations are often very secular. So I wanted to add a big and bold reminder of the reason we celebrate Christmas in our home this year. So I created a big and beautiful For Unto Us a Child is Born free Christmas print! I hung this in my front entry way, which also happens to be right by our stairs so we pass this space multiple times daily. And every time we pass it, we now get a beautiful reminder to celebrate and remember Christ's birth.
For Unto Us a Child is Born Free Christmas Print
I designed this lovely Christmas printable as a 24" x 36" print because that is the size of frame I have in my foyer. However, you can easily ask the print shop to size this down for you if you need them to.
This print is designed as a black and white print so that you can get it printed as an architectural print at most print shops pretty cheap! I sent mine to Kinko's and paid around $5 for it! So it makes this totally affordable holiday decor!
And because I am sure someone will ask, I wanted to share resources for the other items I decorated with on my entry table. (affiliate links included for your convenience)
I added a berry garland across the top of the frame, a wooden Nutcracker I snagged from the Chip and JoAnna Gaines Hearth and Hand line at Target, and three beautiful hand carved wood trees I brought home from Germany last Christmas. I put the trees on a wooden serving tray I also snagged from the Hearth and Hand line at Target and it is all sitting on a pretty herringbone blanket that is from the Better Homes & Gardens line.
