Hey there!

My name is Ashley Phipps, and I’m the brains behind the blog, Simply Designing.

Simply Designing was started in 2010 because I wanted to share simple ideas for you and your home in a way that was easily accessible to all.

Today, it's a space dedicated to simple and amazing ways to decorate your home through DIYs, crafts and simple home decor ideas! It is also a place where I share easy essential oil DIYs, recipes and travel ideas too. My goal is to always share every single step and detail of the projects that I work on with you so that you can easily recreate them yourself no matter your experience or skill level.

When I'm not busy blogging, I love music, theater, hiking, walking, the outdoors and spending as much time as possible with my family! I also make a killer SMOOTHIE and MILKSHAKE.

Most people are surprised to learn that I am actually an interior designer by trade and a creator by nature. I love to figure out how to make my environment suite my needs and often, that doesn't come from a store. I started creating things by hand because I wanted to make my dreams become a reality within a budget.
