Whew that was a long title!
So earlier in the season I was leafing through the Pottery Barn Kids catalog and longing to have some of their Easter decorations. But alas. The price tag on many of those items tends to make me not want them so much. I always say I will buy them after the holiday on sale, but then I never do.
For several years now they have had an Easter Egg Tree. They also have Halloween trees and various other holiday trees I believe...anyway, I always thought they were cute. But didn't want to pay that price tag for the tree and then the decorations.
Now I have heard of people finding a branch, painting it and doing a similar look. But, I didn't want a real tree branch! That would only last one year. If I am going to put the effort into something like this, I want it to last for a couple of years! I love simple and easy, but I also value things lasting! (Plus I can just see this getting a bit too messy for my taste too...real tree branches in the house + 3 year old = disaster waiting to happen!)
So when I walked into the dollar store and found this:

I am so glad to have been of service to you with the before pic...we have ALL had that predicament, so I am glad I was able to share...yay! xx Rayan

How fun! I bought one of those trees too and just finished posting my "dolled" up tree on my blog. I love how yours turned out!

Which dollar store did you purchase the tree and egg ornaments at?

I got this at the Dollar Tree store. I think I still saw them this year there too 🙂
