One upon a time, I went out of town. By myself, kid-less and husband-less for 5 whole days. I kissed my sweet family good bye and hopped on a plane to go and spend some very enjoyable time with my mom and dad, one of my sisters and one my my brothers to celebrate my mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary. We had a lot of fun and we enjoyed our time together, but after a few days it was time to go home.
My plane was delayed...for close to 5 hours. But I eventually made it home, at 4:30 in the morning.
When I did, my sweet husband parked in the driveway (weird) and did not open the garage door (double weird.)
Then I was told to close my eyes. I hadn't slept in almost 24 hours and my husband was making me close my eyes.
Alright, it was 4:30am and this was officially weird. And I was so confused.
But I dutifully closed my eyes and let my husband lead me inside my house and into what was probably one of the biggest surprises ever...
