To Shop or Not to Shop...that is the Black Friday Question #MyKindofHoliday #spon

Are you a Black Friday shopper?  I'm not.  Weeeeeellllll.....I like to CLAIM that I am not.  But really, a bit of it thrills me and I do go out or do some sort of shopping almost every Black Friday since I've been an adult. So, I guess I am secretly a Black Friday shopper 馃檪

I never have plans to go and shop, I don't plan a route and I tell people that saving $5 or even $15 is just not worth getting up at 2am to stand outside in the freezing cold to maybe, MAYBE get something on sale.

But then the flyers come in the mail and I start to see advertisements online for all the great DoorBuster deals.  And a part of me....a big part of me...wants to get up in the middle of the night, join in the madness and try to score a great deal!

And occasionally I will actually do it too!  But most of the time, honestly, I stick to online sales.  And then I venture out at about 2pm to check out some of the deals that aren't so crazy.

Here is my reason though.  I don't want to get a good price on something, just to get a good price on it.  I have to actually WANT the item, regardless of price.  I don't buy stuff just to have stuff, it definitely has to be something I need or I want otherwise I just feel like I am wasting money.  So I try not to get sucked into the madness unless it is something I wanted to buy anyway.

So mostly I stick to online shopping.  Two years ago I scored an AMAZING Shark Steam Mop from Target online for the exact same price as they were selling it as a doorbuster in the store, with no shipping!  No crowds, no middle of the night freezing...I bought it online and never looked back!  It was one of my best Black Friday deals ever!  I have also been known to stand in line for a great deal on a phone or occasionally for something else.  But some years, I just stay snug in bed!

I was looking at Target's Black Friday flyer the other day though and they DO have a few things on sale that I am already planning (or hoping) to buy anyway!  So it might be worth venturing out on the big day...

Here is what I am looking at:

iPad Air and iPad Mini Black Friday Deals at Target #MyKindofHoliday
iPad Air or iPad mini
I desperately want an iPad Air and while they aren't on sale, you do get a substantial gift card with purchase!  You get $100 gift card with purchase of the iPad Air and $75 gift card for the iPad mini purchase.  It might be worth checking out their online store for this one though, because I can only imagine how crazy that line will be!

Razor Scooter Black Friday Deals at Target #MyKindofHoliday

Razor Scooter

My 3 year old son is begging for a scooter just like his sister's, but in blue.  And Target is putting some of their Kick Razor Scooters (with light up wheels) $15 off on Black Friday which makes a scooter only $19!

LeapFrog Explorer Games Black Friday Deals at Target #MyKindofHoliday

LeapPad Games

My children are both getting LeapPads for Christmas and I would love to stock up on a few more games for them!  And at $15 each, you really can't beat that price!

Classic Board Games Black Friday Deals at Target #MyKindofHoliday

Board Games

One of the traditions in our house is to get a new family board game every year for Christmas!  And Target is putting many of their kid-friendly and classic board games on sale for $5!  That is a killer price and may just be worth Black Friday shopping for!

I dropped my teenage son off at the mall to hang with his friends...wild horses couldn't have dragged me inside.
