Today I went to my youngest child's graduation. Preschool graduation. But still, that doesn't mean I wasn't hiding in the back wiping away tears as they sang cute songs, confessed their dream jobs and walked across stage to get a certificate from their teacher! I don't know why but my son's preschool graduation marks the end of so many things and the beginning of many more things, and it makes me a little weepy. We have been at this preschool for five years (including my daughter's time here) and while we didn't plan for this to be our last year with a kiddo in preschool, suddenly, I am here. With elementary age kids and no more babies or preschoolers. Next year I will be sending two kiddos on a school bus and while I have mixed emotions, I know he is ready for it. So I am going to try my best to hide the tears, and enjoy all the time I have with my kiddos because I know that soon enough, I won't be in the corner of preschool graduation crying, it will be high school graduation.
