Glitter Champagne Bottle, for some reason, flows off the tongue easier then Glitter Sparkling Cider Bottle. Although we do not drink, so we never have wine or champagne around, this is the perfect glittery project to dress up any bottle; including my sparkling cider bottles! And it is a great way to dress up a bottle of bubbly for Valentine's Day or for any other special occasion (like Christmas, New Year's or a wedding!)
Here is what you will need:
- bottle
- spray adhesive
- spray sealer
- glitter, as many colors as you like, but I used mainly silver, plus red and a hint of white
This is a project best done outside. Because it is freezing here (actually it is below freezing), I laid out a drop cloth in my garage and completed this project inside my garage instead.
You will simply spray your bottle with spray adhesive, one portion at a time, and cover with glitter! Lots and lots of glitter.
If you miss a spot, no worries! Just add a little more spray adhesive and a little more glitter!
I put a bit of white near the top first, then added silver all over! Finally, I added a bit of red glitter to the bottom of the bottle!
When it is completely covered in glitter, cover with a layer of spray adhesive to help the glitter stay in place.
Be warned though, some glitter will still fall off. It's simply the nature of glitter, to fall off and get everywhere! But if you hold the bottle near the top, glitter-free area, it should be fine.
Isn't it just so pretty!?!?
And don't worry, those pretty Gold Dipped Wine Glasses at the top, I am going to show you how to make those very soon!
