Thanksgiving Table Decor plus Video

If you need last minute Thanksgiving Table Decorations...I have the solution for you!  If you've noticed, I don't do a lot of tablescapes, mainly because I just don't think about them.  And I don't have a huge table so there isn't a ton of room.  Plus, in all honesty, table decor is not that easy to photograph in my home, I'm not sure why, but the shots never turn out the best, so even when I do things, I rarely show them off on my blog.

Anyway, I had inspiration hit me the other day and decided that I wanted to put together a simple, easy and inexpensive tablescape for the last-minute Thanksgiving planners (like me) out there!

I used a white table cloth I already had (a hand me down...thanks mom!) and a piece of brown burlap I had lying around for some reason as a table runner!
I put some dried white beans in the bottom of 3 mason jars, added a candle, wrapped a tan piece of burlap and a doily around them with jute and placed in the center of my table.
I love how these berries naturally wrap themselves around my decorated mason jars!

This was very cheap to throw together!  I had almost everything on hand except for the doilies which I bought for $2 from Walmart for a pack of them, and I only used 3.  So all in all this Thanksgiving Table Decor only cost me a few pennies to create!

And you can't have a Thanksgiving table without name cards (place cards...not sure what those are really called but you get the idea!)

I just printed the names onto card stock in a fancy font.  Yup.  That is the same font my logo is in...what can I say, I love it!
And I used a clothes pin to hold the name cards.
If the clothes pins don't stay up well (mine stood up until someone blew on them, touched the table or looked at them wrong), just grab a well-loved container of play dough (extra points if yours is multicolored like all of ours is 🙂 and stick the clothes pin into a balled up piece of play dough.  It will help the name cards to stand up straight no matter how many dirty looks you throw at it.
