Silhouette Black Friday Deals + Winter Wonderland Project + Simply Link Party

If you don't know what a "Silhouette" is let me tell you...it is ah.maz.ing!  This little machine can cut vinyl, card-stock, paper etc into many different designs and letters!  There are no expensive cartridges, you can import files from their design store (only purchase what you want), use your own true type fonts to create your own image to cut, or (if you have the designer edition software) you can create your own files to cut!!  You can also create rhinestone designs, use sketch pens to add pattern and color and a myriad of other great things!  This machine is really amazing!  If you love crafting, DIY-ing or scrapbooking, the Silhouette is a MUST-HAVE item in my opinion!

I love my Silhouette Cameo, the Designer Edition Studio Software and all of their amazing design files in their store!  I create a lot of craft and DIY projects with my Silhouette!  But before I had a Silhouette, I always kept my eye out for a killer deal!  And this year, Silhouette America is offering some killer deals on their products to my readers!  (Wahoo!!!)

Here is a fun little project I whipped up yesterday using the Silhouette:

For this project, I simply painted a scrap board I already had with cream spray paint and then I sanded the edges to distress it a bit.  I found this super cute Winter Wonderland file from the Silhouette store and knew it would be perfect.

I cut the stars and flourish out in silver vinyl and the verbiage in gold vinyl.  I layered the vinyl together and adhered them to the painted board.

I just love how this turned out and it was super quick to make too!  This is one of the many reasons I am in love with my Silhouette!!
