Welcome to hair flower week! I am so glad you joined me!
Congratulations JAMI from FRECKLED LAUNDRY! Please email me at [email protected] with your mailing address and I will forward it to Nature's Elements!
Thanks to all who participated!
So back to hair flower week!
First off, I will show you how to line an alligator clip. (sorry about the blurry photos)
All you need is an alligator clip, ribbon (grossgrain works best) and a hot glue gun.
Being very careful, place a small amount of hot glue on the inside of the top prong. Place the ribbon on it.
Place glue on the top and bottom of the end and wrap the ribbon around tightly.
Then place hot glue on the end of the clip and wrap the ribbon around the last part of the clip.
That's it! You are now ready to add a bow or flowers to the lined clip!
Come back tomorrow for the first of a week's worth of tutorials on making flowers that you can put on your newly lined alligator clips!
I participate in the link parties found here.

Thank you so much!!! I'm so happy. (I had my ipod calendar set to remind of this giveaway at midnight last night. Haha!) I'm emailing you now...<br /><br />And, just in case anyone else is reading this, I meant to write "You'VE also been on my blog for about a week."<br /><br />Thank you,<br />Grammar Police

What a great easy tutorial! And a great way to pretty up the clips before adding other bows and stuff! I just started a link party and I would LOVE it if you'd consider adding your crafts to it! I'm having flower headband giveaway as part of our first party too! http://imtopsyturvy.com/index.php/2010/07/topsy-turvy-tuesdays-1/

Just in time for me! I'm trying to come up with some activities for the kiddos at church, and I have never done the clips. Thanks for sharing ... I've posted a link. Stop by and say "hi," maybe add a few links of your own!
