I can't wait to show you how to make this chocolate oatmeal peanut butter smoothie! I can't believe we are already halfway through summer! In a little less then a month my children will be going back to school and I hope to get them off to a great start to a new school year! One of the things that that sadly always feels rushed in the morning is breakfast. So this year I am working on coming up with a few quick and easy breakfast solutions to help my children love to eat breakfast and for them to have full tummies when they leave for school.
I headed to WalMart the other day to grab a few items for their breakfast and happened upon a great solution for my breakfast too! I am notorious for skipping breakfast, but I am going to try to improve as well.
Chocolate Oatmeal Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipe
Smoothie Ingredients:
- 1 cup cold milk
- 2 tablespoon Nesquick chocolate powder
- 1 tablespoon Peanut Butter
- 1 tablespoon Oats
- 4-6 Ice cubes
- Mix all in a blender until well blended.
- If desired, melt a little extra peanut butter in the microwave and swirl on top of your shake.
I served these peanut butter smoothies with a bowl of fresh fruit and berries and my children had full tummies and loved their breakfast!
I also grabbed a new of the new Lean Cuisine morning entrees for me to eat in the morning! They only take about 2.5 minutes to make and they are surprisingly yummy!
I could eat this on the run almost any morning. But I prefer to sit for just a few minutes and eat it with a bit of fruit as well.
