This is one of those fun and simple crafts that takes merely seconds to complete and is a great way to personalize a candle! A personalized Gold Initial Candle makes a great gift! Either a romantic Valentine's Day gift, a wedding gift or an anniversary gift! You can easily keep the supplies to make this on hand and whip one up at the last minute if you need too! Here are my DIY Gold Initial Candles!
To complete this you will need:
- white candle
- gold sharpie marker
- vellum
- double stick tape
- scissors
If you don't have the best handwriting or want something a bit fancier, feel free to print out a template to trace like I did!
Cut your vellum to a size that reasonably fits around your candle. (Mine was about 3" tall)
Trace or draw your initials or a monogram onto your vellum. I wanted mine to look like our initials had been carved into a tree, so I drew a heart around our initials.
This is such a fun and simple project and makes a perfect gift!
