I decided to do a little fall cleaning. Not in my home (although there are definitely a couple areas that do need to be cleaned). But no, I did a little cleaning out of my blog files.
Yup. I have a whole systematically organized file system (aka a single file with tons of photos strewn in it) on my computer FULL of things I have created, projects I have finished but that I have not posted etc. Yup. It's true. I do much more then I find time to post about. So I decided to peek into my file today and I found a few great Halloween ideas that I never showed off last year!!!
So today I want to share a cute Halloween Treat! My daughter's preschool teacher last year emailed me a photo of these really cute Spooky Halloween Bone Treats and wanted to know if I could help their class make these! Of course! So I went in to help 12 preschoolers make some Spooky Bones for Halloween!
So. Much. Fun!
You Will Need:
- small pretzel sticks
- mini marshmallows
- white melting chocolate
- Secure two mini marshmallows on either end of a mini pretzel stick by pushing them on as far as you can.
- Dip into white melted chocolate. (see here for tips and tricks and how to melt chocolate here)
- Use a fork to take pretzel out of melted chocolate and carefully tap off extra
- Let dry on wax paper or foil until set
Not only are these spooky bones tasty but they are also really simple to make and a great activity to get kids involved in!!
